Day 1: Stone Town
Arrival at Zanzibar and transfer to Stone Town checking into Dhow Palace (B&B). Spend the afternoon exploring Stone Town’s labyrinth of narrow streets; explore some of its history and ethnic restaurants.
Day 2: Stone Town
Stone Town guided tour, with visits of the former slave market, the Palace Museum, the House of Wonders and other highlights. Some time left to further explore Stone Town and try Forodhani Gardens for an famous Zanzibar pizza. Overnight stay in the Dhow Palace (B&B).
Day 3: Stone Town
Transfer from Stone Town to the white beaches and warm, crystal sea of the West Coast with a Spice Tour along the way. Zanzibar is famous for its cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper and many other spices. After the tour transfer to the Sunset Bungalows (HB).
Day 4: Kendwa, Zanzibar
Just indulge and relax under a coconut palm on the Kendwa Beach, overlooking the Indian Ocean, and maybe explore the nearby mangrove forests with a canoe. Overnight stay at the Sunset Beach Bungalows (HB).
Day 5: Menai Bay Beach
Boat trip to small islands in the protected Menai Bay. On the islands you will find an exposed sandbar, providing a pristine beach, perfect for relaxation. The sea around the islands is excellent for snorkeling. Feel like Robinson Crusoe on these untouched coral islands! Overnight stay at the Menai Bay Beach Bungalows (HB).
Day 6: Menai Bay Beach
Dolphin tour in Kizimkazi. Overnight stay at the Menai Bay Beach Bungalows (HB).
Day 7: Zanzibar Departure
Transfer to Zanzibar airport for your outbound flight.
Activities (Optional): There are, however, a lot of different activities that one can indulge in at Zanzibar Island. These include historical tours of the old stone town where you will be able to see lots of old buildings and palaces built during the colonial era and remains of the slavery market. Other excursions include spice tours, dolphin tours at Kizimkazi, visit to the Jozani forest, day trips to the Nungwi and Mnemba islands in the north and other small islands close by which provide excellent opportunity for diving and snorkeling. All this activities maybe organized through our representative who is based in Zanzibar.
